Across Time and Space
The two paintings in this collection were created approximately
twenty years apart. Each is an interpretation of the ibogaine experience. The painting done ca 1990s, "Ibogaine Art",
is by David Hunter while the painting accomplished ca 1970s, "The Doctor" is by a female artist
who remains anonymous to the editors of the Dossier. The 1970s group referred to ibogaine as "The Doctor".
Outside of Africa most persons familiar with ibogaine
interpret the dream-like visualization as the recall of memories. In Africa within the Bwiti religion, where
ibogaine containing plants are used, initiates interpret the visualization as traveling through
time and space. Join us in traveling across time and space with the artists.
